How It Works

In the middle of the SARS epidemic of 2003, one of China's leading viral scientists, Professor D.S. Liu, PhD, after years of research discovered the optimal combination of herbs which would inactivate Influenza A & B virus and viruses which cause the common cold.

Cold & Flu viruses first grow on the respiratory tract. Most cold and flu medications have to be ingested and then work their way into the bloodstream to enhance the immune system. This uses up valuable time and the virus replicates.

Flu-STOP is significantly different in that it is sprayed to the back of the throat where it attacks the virus directly. It wraps around the virus and prevents it from replicating.

EFFECTIVENESS

How can herbs treat these powerful viruses? It's quite hard to believe.
The Chinese have been studying herbs for thousands of years. They know what works because of millions of testimonies but now also we know that the pharmacologies (action of the herb) are true because they have been scientifically researched as well. The inventor of this product has made it his life's work and found just the right combination.

Are you telling me this will work against all Flus?
There is a characteristic of all influenza viruses that is the same. Each influenza virus contains the glycoproteins hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA), which are the receptacles that attach to the healthy cell. FluSTOP has been shown to inactivate the HA and NA on some viruses rendering them ineffective which prevents the virus from replicating. We have not test all flus but can tell you it worked on some and by extrapolation will work on others.

What is all this about that cough medicines are not good for my child?
You would be well advised to read the article form CBC News on Oct 11, 2007 titled, "Health Canada issues advisory on cough meds in kids under 2." We'll give you the highlights but read the article yourself please:

• Health Canada issued an advisory Thursday warning consumers not to give over-the-counter cough and cold medications to children without first consulting a doctor.
• Taking multiple doses of the same product could lead to an overdose."
• Those under age six should not be given antihistamine medicines.
• There is a comment in the article about: the serious and life-threatening effects and deaths in young children dating back to 1969.

FLU VACCINATIONS

I already got a Flu Shot. Should I just use Flu-STOP in the future instead of the Flu shot?
We invite you to do your own research on Flu shots. Flu-STOP fights ALL influenza A & B viruses and also Rhino virus which is one of the viruses that fights the common cold.

What does the research say about the effectiveness about Flu Shots.
Highlights of a report from the website www.CTV.ca on Sept 24, 2007 were as follows:

• most of the studies suggesting that the vaccine prevents deaths in the elderly are weak.
• evidence base is currently insufficient
• Recent studies have been unable to confirm that Flu Shots have resulted in fewer influenza-related deaths among the elderly.

SAFETY

Will it harm me if I use more than the recommended dosage?
During the toxicity experiment we tested at 500X potency and dosage and it was still fine. So if you wish to spray more, go ahead.

If this is so safe, why does it say, "not recommended for pregnant or lactating mothers."
We know it is probably safe for this group, however, for our own protection, we want to be extra safe. We have not done any research in this area yet so use your own judgment.

What is a clinical trial and why is it important?
In order to test the effectiveness of a product, scientists take an infected group of participants. The group is divided and one half uses the product being tested and the other uses either a placebo or other products. Neither group knows what they are using.
